The Fair Trade Shop is situated within St. Andrew's complex. We sell food and crafts, all of which are Fairly Traded, which means that the farmers and producers are given more for their labour than by traditional commercial sources.
The shop sells a wide range of craft goods; wood, silver, stoneware, fabrics and exquisite jewellery made by people from around the world. We also stock well over 100 lines of Fair Trade foods including catering size coffee, tea and sugar.
In addition the shop sells a wide range of greeting cards bought straight from commercial sources and also a Traidcraft range.
Goods such as toys, china and glass, and "good-as-new" clothing are donated by the public. The standard is high and some are actually new.
All profits are given to various charities either in the third world or within the UK. In 2010 donations totalling £3984 were made to a number of charities. Turnover in 2010 was over £25,000. All staff are unpaid volunteers. Further volunteers, to cover emergencies and to increase opening hours would be welcome. The church has a Child Protection policy in place.

Practical Action £600, Tools for Self Reliance £600, ROPE £600, MAF £600, HART £400, Crossways £230, Bridge Trust £230, Kenward £240, ShelterBox £484
