Choir

The music worship at St Andrews is led on the first and third Sundays by the choir and on the second and fourth Sundays by our music group.

In addition to singing at the main Christian festivals of Christmas and Easter, the choir provides gentle acapella music whilst Holy Communion is being celebrated. About four times a year Taize and Bereavement services are held and the choir make a significant contribution to those services.

The choir enjoys singing from a wide range of musical styles, including arrangements of contemporary worship songs and provides a musical item usually once a month and at special services. We aim for high standards musically whilst equally emphasising the importance of singing that expresses heartfelt worship and love to God.
