Prayer

prayer

Prayer is at the heart of our worship at St.Andrew's Church Paddock Wood. Prayer takes many forms be that private and personal, in a small group or during a service.

Public Prayer
At our regular services, or on special occasions, we will pray for specific reasons and to enable the word of God to shine. We have a prayer ministry team who can support you and pray with you during services or at quiet times. Members of this team can be easily identified as they wear a special badge.
We also have cards and occasionally visit people at home to ask if they have anything that they would like us to pray for, these prayer requests are included in our prayers on the fourth Sunday in the month, during the morning service.

Prayer Groups
Church is of course not the only place you can pray. There are many small groups who meet specifically for prayer, either in their homes or in bible study and prayer groups. Our prayer ministry team can help guide you and make themselves available to listen to you and pray with you and for you.

Personal Prayer
Of course you can pray anytime and anywhere. You are also welcome to come into the church at anytime, when it is open, for some quiet time, reflection and prayer. The church is specifically open at 9am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for a half hour service to pray for the life of the church, the world and the community in Paddock Wood. You are welcome to join this service and we would be happy to include your prayers and thoughts.

We publish daily prayers in the church's weekly service sheet, "Day by Day", to help provide a focus for your thoughts.

If you have a personal prayer request, please complete the form below, and we will commit to pray for you and your situation. If you wish to remain anonymous, please use 'anon' for name fields and 'anon@anon.com' as an email address.
